The Fresno Chaffee Zoo welcomed its newest member, an 8-year-old female Malayan Tiger named Batari. Batari comes to the Fresno Chaffee Zoo from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and is a match for the zoo’s male Malayan tiger Penari. According to the zoo, Malayan tigers are “critically endangered” in their natural habitat, and so bringing Batari and Penari together is part of a Species Survival Plan. | KSEE24 News
