In the video, fifth graders from Broadway Elementary School in Denison learn the procedures for firing a cannon Friday afternoon at the historic McHenry House. Members of the Col. William H. Kinsman Camp #23, based in Atlantic, with the Iowa Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War Camps, had four stations set up on the lawn of the McHenry House to teach fourth and fifth graders about camp life for Civil War soldiers and officers along with the equipment and armaments they used. The cannon being
