When I lost my legs, I was told I would never snowboard again. I’m so happy that I didn’t allow others limiting beliefs, limit my life. Let this be your reminder to write your own rules! Nothing is truth until you make it that way. Go after your dreams no matter how challenging the road to get there. Become an expert in the possibilities and your world will open up in ways you never could have imagined. ❤️ Amy | Amy Purdy

Walking out of this decade like... I came across this video yesterday walking in my carbon fiber legs in 3 inch heels & can’t even tell you guys how much I miss this. It took me 20 years to build myself up to a place of walking in heels, winning snowboard medals & dancing so to now be starting over again has been surreal. However, I did it before & I know I can do it again! 2019 has brought challenges I never thought I would face again but it’s also brought a new fire 🔥! Isn’t it amazing how ch

I’ve been on the hardest journey of my life and I realize I haven’t shared enough of the story and what’s helped me through. I lost my legs at 19 and had a kidney transplant at 21. Believe it or not those things never held me back, in fact they propelled me forward into the most amazing life of sport, athletics and high level corporate speaking. 6 years ago is when the rug got pulled out from under me when I permanently damaged my popliteal and femoral artery after years of snowboarding in prost
