⛴️ It was a historic moment for Mersey Ferries last week as the Royal Daffodil - the first new Mersey Ferry to be built in 60 years - took to the river for the first time. Early on Thursday morning, Mayor Steve Rotheram was on hand to see the new vessel take to the water as the tide came in before being transported by tug to Cammell Laird's test basin, where engineers will carry further work ahead of full sea trials early next year. 🎥 Watch our video to find out more 👇 | Merseytravel
