Oxford has introduced a new congestion charge - the highest in the UK outside of London. Motorists are set to deal with a new £5 daily charge as the city introduces a new temporary congestion charge for cars. The scheme is being introduced as the council aims to reduce congestion in Oxford while National Rail continues its work on Botley Road, meaning a traffic filter trial cannot start. Speaking to GB News' Will Godley, Councillor Andrew Gant welcomed the charge, saying: 'Oxford has a problem.
