Remembering the great Charlie Louvin on his birthday. He was born Charles Elzer Loudermilk on July 7, 1927 in Section, Alabama. He is best known as one of the Louvin Brothers, In 1963, Charlie split from his brother Ira and began a solo career. Ira died in a car wreck in 1965.
