Since Universal Studios Florida 's opening on June 7, 1990, over 40 attractions have been retired, and usually replaced or re-themed into new attractions, 17 of them being original attractions. The original entrance to the theme park, c. 1993. It was replaced with the current entrance in 1998.

As of 2024, Universal Orlando Resort currently occupies 1,291 acres (522 ha) of land with the expansion of Universal Epic Universe. The original theme park in the resort, Universal Studios Florida, opened on June 7, 1990, as a theme park that let visitors "Ride the Movies."

I also remember the Alfred Hitchcock 3 D theatre & getting my picture by the large animatronic jaws (before the ride existed), I think in 1990/91? I need to get pics from my mom when I visit next.
