Costco has published a list of items from its catalog that have been recalled. Most of these products — which include cough medicine, sandwiches, tires and air fryers — were recalled in coordination with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. If you have any of these products at home, the company advises you not to use them.

The products have no markings or labeling to identify the manufacturer or provide safety warnings, which is another violation of federal safety standards.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Consumers should immediately stop using and dispose of some electric immersion water heaters sold exclusively on Amazon, after the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission received 31 reports of fires. The commission says the electric immersion water heaters pose a risk of serious injury and death due to fire and burn hazards.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission was created in 1972. Its five members must maintain a partisan split, with no more than three representing the president’s party.

After being notified in May that Trump had fired them, Boyle, Hoehn-Saric and Trumka sued to challenge the action. Commissioners of independent agencies established by Congress such as the Consumer Product Safety Commission can be removed by the president only for neglect of duty or malfeasance, not at will, their lawsuit noted.
