You can now use the sounds from the PS1, PS2, PS3, or PS4 when selecting games on PlayStation 5, but it may only be for a 'limited' time.

Alongside the new theme, Sony has also released a new trailer marking the console's 30th anniversary. Titled "30th Anniversary Thank You", the video is over two minutes long and mashes the various first-party franchises Sony has made famous over the years.

If you load up your PS5 today, you'll be prompted to restart for a features update, and when your console reloads, you're in for a treat. As well as loading up to the classic PS1 startup screen, you can head into your options to tweak the appearance and sound of your PS5 menus.
