CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Powerball jackpot is now the largest it’s been this year, reaching $605 million for the drawing on Monday, Aug. 18, 2025. The largest jackpot this year was a $526.5 million prize won March 29 in California. The Saturday, Aug. 16 numbers are 23-40-49-65-69 Powerball 23 Power Play 3x.

An Ohio man won $50,000 from his favorite scratch-off lottery ticket, which previously scored him wins worth $5,000 and $10,000 just two months earlier.

OREGON, OH – A lucky customer in Lucas County struck big with a $50,000 win on an Ohio Lottery scratch-off ticket. The prize came from a $10 “$500,000 Bankroll” ticket purchased at S&G #92 on Jerusalem Road in Oregon. After federal and state tax withholdings, the winner will take home about $36,000.

TOLEDO, Ohio (WJW) — An Ohio woman scratched off the top prize of an Ohio Lottery ticket, winning $80,000 a year for 25 years. That’s $2 million. According to a lottery press release, the Toledo woman chose the cash option of $1,000,000. After mandatory federal and state taxes, totaling 28 percent, she will take home about $720,000.
