COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State’s quarterback competition seemingly had another swing on Saturday morning. At the team’s third practice of fall camp, the third (and final) open practice to media members, both Julian Sayin and Lincoln Kienholz took reps for the first time in shoulder pads.

Ohio State opened football training camp on July 31 knowing there’s an urgency not required at this time last year. In 2024, OSU had a loaded, mostly experienced roster with a nonconference schedule it knew wouldn’t be much of a test as it pursued the national title.
