A Las Vegas Strip performer says he was arrested Wednesday while trying to enter his own East Fremont Street art studio, caught up in the aftermath of an anti-ICE protest

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said around 8,000 people showed up to Saturday’s protest. Metro police arrested 15 people at the ‘No Kings’ demonstration.

The protest was dubbed “No Kings,” and was part of worldwide demonstrations Saturday targeting the Trump Administration. No Kings is also a reference to fears by some that President Trump is making moves more akin to that of an unchecked monarch. During her brief address, Titus quipped that “Elvis is the only king we want in Las Vegas.”
