The State Department is offering a $5 million reward for information leading to Jimmy “Barbecue” Chérizier’s arrest or conviction.

He heads the group Viv Ansanm, which controls much of Haiti's capital and is accused of multiple murders, kidnappings and attacks on infrastructure.

Jimmy Chérizier, best known as “Barbecue,” is a leader of a gang federation called Viv Ansanm that the U.S. has designated as a foreign terrorist organization.
