WASHINGTON − President Donald Trump denied reports he had reached out to Tehran seeking an end to the five-day Iran-Israel air war, after earlier suggesting he was working toward a broad Iran nuclear deal.

President Donald Trump in about eight hours went from suggesting a nuclear deal remained “achievable” to urging Tehran’s 9.5 million residents to flee for their lives.

U.S. President Donald Trump said he wanted a "real end" to the nuclear problem with Iran, with Iran "giving up entirely" on nuclear weapons, in comments he made to reporters on Air Force One on his way back from the Group of Seven summit in Canada.
