The traditional standby queue for Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion has reopened after a months-long renovation. Since January, crews have been working on an expanded outdoor queue and new store, all expected to “build on the story and lore of the Haunted Mansion.

And surely, the ghosts of Disneyland's world-famous Haunted Mansion, those celebrated 999 Happy Haunts, had plenty to observe as they gazed out of the windows of their merry manse over the last several months.

Disneyland offered a first look inside the new Haunted Mansion gift shop that doubles as Madame Leota’s private sitting room as the Anaheim theme park opened the attraction’s expanded queue that winds through a series of themed gardens.

With the opening of The Haunted Mansion’s expanded grounds, the ride also got a new ADA-accessible exit. Haunted Mansion Accessible Exit Disney announced with their reveal of the new outdoor queue that guests using a mobility device can now use the main Haunted Mansion queue and entrance.

Disneyland has taken down the walls around its new Haunted Mansion extended queue area. Frankly, it’s pretty, but it seems relatively inexpensive, especially compared to the extended queue at Walt Disney World,
