The Pack Fire in California continues to set thousands of acres ablaze, and homes in the area are under evacuation orders due to an "immediate threat to life", according to Cal Fire. The Pack Fire, which was discovered on Thursday, Nov. 13, started in Mono County, located around 147 miles southeast of Sacramento, California, according to Cal Fire.
Mandatory evacuations were issued Wednesday in the Castaic area due to the fast-spreading Hughes Fire. CAL FIRE's map shows the evacuation zones.
