Afghanistan’s Taliban government has accused Pakistan of launching overnight strikes in three eastern provinces, killing 10 civilians.

RAWALPINDI: Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry on Tuesday strongly refuted allegations by the Afghan Taliban on Tuesday that Pakistan had conducted overnight strikes in Afghanistan, state media and the military’s media wing reported.

Inter-Services Public Relations Director General Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said on Tuesday that Pakistan did not carry out an attack on Afghanistan and always makes a formal announcement when it conducts any operation, told senior journalists.

The more hostile and uncompromising Pakistan’s approach becomes, the more likely Afghanistan is to accelerate its search for alternative trade routes and partners.

Several Afghan migrants who recently returned to Afghanistan from Pakistan have said that they are facing serious challenges ahead of winter season.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Friday voiced strong concern over what it described as the continued use of Afghan territory for terrorist attacks, reaffirming that border controls and the suspension of trade with Afghanistan will remain in place.
