Washington has a new governor for the first time in a dozen years. And Gov. Bob Ferguson made clear in his inaugural address on Wednesday that he’s ready to bolster bipartisanship and buck the status quo.

Bob Ferguson will be sworn in as Washington's 24th governor Wednesday, taking over the state's highest office from Gov. Jay Inslee, who served three terms.

On Wednesday, Governor Inslee will transfer his office and powers to the 24th governor of Washington, Bob Ferguson. At 11:30 a.m., Governor-elect Bob Ferguson is expected to deliver his first inaugural address. Ferguson is expected to outline his vision for the state in front of a joint session of the state legislature.
