Moscow dismisses reports of British and French talks being ‘reactivated’ in wake of Donald Trump’s election win

"We are not committing U.K. troops on the ground to Ukraine, but we continue to support Ukraine with training and military assistance, and we have been absolutely clear that we will continue to do that for as long as is required and is needed,

The Kremlin has rejected reports suggesting that Britain and France are in talks to send troops to Ukraine. A French newspaper, Le Monde, had claimed that the two countries had "revived" discussions about deploying Western forces and private military contractors to Ukraine.

France says Paris remains open to allowing Ukraine to use French long-range missiles to strike military targets inside Russia, after the United States cleared Kyiv to use American missiles for the same purpose.
