The Cincinnati Reds and Atlanta Braves already started their one-off game at Bristol Motor Speedway on Aug. 2, but it was twice delayed by rain before it was suspended. Aug. 3 will see the times pick-up where they left off and attempt to complete a full game.

The famed racetrack has been converted to host baseball for the showcase. Over 85,000 fans were expected on hand for the first-of-its-kind event. MLB's previous attendance record was 84,587 fans at a 1954 game in Cleveland featuring the New York Yankees.

Hall of Famers Johnny Bench and Chipper Jones threw out the ceremonial first pitches on Saturday, alongside NASCAR drivers Kyle Busch and Chase Elliott. Country superstar Tim McGraw, son of former MLB pitcher Tug McGraw, and Pitbull performed a pre-game concert before players took a lap around the track.
