Max Verstappen claim his fourth world championship title in a row with Red Bull this season but has still seen speculation over his future with the Formula 1 team amid controversies

Jos Verstappen has issued a significant update on his son Max's long-term future at Red Bull. The 27-year-old clinched his fourth consecutive Formula 1 drivers' title in Las Vegas earlier this month, capping what has been an up-and-down campaign to date.

Dutch Grand Prix director Robert van Overdijk has confirmed that the event has turned down offers from Formula 1 and will drop off the calendar after a 2026 finale, at which point Max Verstappen may be “driving with a different team”.
