Queen Camilla will be absent from the kickoff of Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani's visit to the U.K. due to an ongoing chest infection.

Catherine, Princess of Wales has helped the British royal family roll out the red carpet for the Emir of Qatar on the first day of his state visit to the United Kingdom on Tuesday.

But Queen Camilla still has a lingering chest infection and will miss the start, while Catherine's involvement in the visit by the wealthy Gulf state marks another step in her return to official duties.
