The Caribbean Princess is offering six- and eight-day cruises during fall/winter cruising season to the Eastern and Western Caribbean and the Bahamas.

The cruise line that touts its connection to “The Love Boat” made its debut from Port Canaveral on with the arrival of its first ship to call the Orlando-area port home. Princess Cruises’ Caribbean Princess made its way to the port late in November to begin a winter of mostly six- and eight-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries.

Vicki Johnson, the Head of Communications for Princess Cruises said, “We’re going to call Port Canaveral, home of the Love Boat. And it’s ideal because of the great drive market that it offers the proximity of Orlando International airport. And incredibly convenient.

Love has arrived with Caribbean Princess sailing into her new homeport at Port Canaveral, a first-ever deployment for Princess Cruises.

Port Canaveral continues to expand its fleet of homeported cruise ships with today’s arrival of Princess Cruises Caribbean Princess, the first “Love Boat” to be homeported at the Port, kicking off its slate of 4- to 14- day itineraries to the Caribbean and Central America.

Princess Cruises’ Caribbean Princess docked Wednesday morning as the crew and post leaders prepared to celebrate its arrival. This marks the first time a Princess Cruises cruise ship has called Port Canaveral home. Its arrival comes during a busy time at the port.
