The PGA Tour is still searching for the perfect format in the FedEx Cup playoffs and the world’s top players aren’t sure what the solution is.

The final stop: the Tour Championship, set for Aug. 21-24 at East Lake Golf Club near Atlanta, GA. Here’s a look at the 30 contenders who’ve kept their title hopes alive heading into the final playoff event:

August 20 - ATLANTA -- Brian Rolapp has a new job -- and now so does Tiger Woods.

East Lake GC is a standard, parkland style golf course. It has been around since 1904, designed by the legendary Bobby Jones. It hosted the 1963 Ryder Cup but most notably, the TOUR Championship since 1998.

The first move by the PGA Tour's new CEO is to put Tiger Woods in charge of a committee to study the competitive model.
