Alonso, 30, has already surpassed his Fangraphs WAR (2.3 to 2.2) from last year, and he’s close to matching his Baseball Reference WAR (2.6 to 2.2). Last season, he hit .240 with a 123 OPS+, 34 home runs and 88 RBI.
