Marcus Rashford has officially signed for Barcelona on a season-long loan from Manchester United and has been given a prestigious shirt number by the La Liga champions

Gary Lineker has tipped Marcus Rashford to shine on loan at Barcelona after leaving Manchester United in the summer transfer window. Rashford’s loan deal will last for 12 months and includes an option for the Spanish top-flight champions to buy him at the end of the season.

Marcus Rashford has been warned he’s going to have a battle on his hands to make it into the Barcelona XI after he joins from Manchester United. The forward is set to arrive on a season-long loan but faces competition for a place in the line-up from Robert Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal, Dani Olmo, Raphinha and Ferran Torres.
