Leonard Lauder, the oldest son of the founder of Estée Lauder and a longtime former CEO of the beauty empire, has died at 92, the company said in a statement.

Leonard was the eldest son of Estée and Joseph Lauder, who together formally started the Estée Lauder business in 1946. Leonard joined the business in 1958 and served for years as CEO.
