A Massachusetts university student about to graduate will be honored at the upcoming graduation ceremony, less than a week after he died from a fall while in the Bahamas.

“Anybody who knows Gaurav loved him, and knew he was the boy with the biggest smile and the biggest hug,” Madan, who is in the Bahamas with the family, said in an interview. “He was a good kid, he was the perfect son.”
