The first and only time Cailtin Clark and Paige Bueckers faced off at the WNBA level was on July 13. Clark led the Indiana Fever to a dominant 102-83 win over the Dallas Wings with a 14-point, 13-assist double-double, drawing first blood in what is expected to be a long and competitive rivalry between these two young stars.

Bueckers had quite a lot to say about Clark ahead of the game. A video of both Bueckers and Clark was shown on the broadcast prior to tip-off, and it featured both stars giving each other their flowers. Bueckers opened up on her rivalry with Clark and how she believes this is only good for the game.
