Kelly Clarkson went through tough times in her divorce from Brandon Blackstock. It wasn’t a simple follow-the-prenup type of split, the former music manager kept dragging the “Since U Been Gone” singer back to court over every minute detail.

Clarkson and her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, finalized their divorce in 202. While she is open to the possibility of dating again sometime soon, her kids aren't happy with the idea of her spending time romantically with someone who isn't their father.

Kelly Clarkson is being "Stronger" for the sake of her children. Ahead of the new year, Clarkson is working on having a friendly relationship with her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock in an effort to set a good example and have a healthy environment for their daughter,

I mean, I’ve explained to [my daughter] that ‘when Mommy’s ready, it’s OK. I’m allowed to do that,'” the Grammy winner shared.

“They constantly bring it up, ‘Please, we don’t want you with anybody else,’” Clarkson said of her kids. “They’re young, it’s hard to picture their mom with someone else other than their dad.” But while Clarkson understands where her kids are coming from, she admits she hopes to find love again, someday.
