"A Star Is Born" producer Lynette Howell Taylor has been elected as the new Academy president, succeeding Janet Yang.

The British Oscar-nominated producer of 'A Star Is Born' is the youngest person in 70 years and the first person born outside of the U.S. in 28 years to hold the position.
