22-year-old man killed in shootout in Birmingham’s Kingston community Wednesday night

Demarious Antwon Cherry, 22, of Birmingham, was killed in what police believe was a shootout in the Kingston community. In addition to officers hearing numerous rounds of gunfire at around 9:40 p.m., ShotSpotter alerted them to shots fired in the 4600 block of Roscoe Avenue.
