The Muskegon City Commission voted 4-2 vote to convert Fisherman's Landing campground to industrial use, with promises of 500 jobs and $41 million in annual economic activity.
There are "about 4-5 months of cold winter weather where the lakes freeze over enough to get some quality ice fishing in," according to Pure Michigan.
