Apple has formally appealed against the European Commission’s penalty connected to the App Store and its relationship with developers in the European Union.

The company has appealed against the fine handed down earlier this year over alleged anti-competitive behaviour.

Apple has formally filed an appeal against the European Union's $570 million fine, arguing that the EU is making demands that go beyond the law, and is continually changing the rules to micro-manage the App Store.
