Joe Mixon witnessed how some penalties against the Houston Texans seemed to favor the Kansas City Chiefs, and he decided not to stay quiet, speaking out publicly about the referees.
HOUSTON – Texans Pro Bowl running back Joe Mixon didn’t practice Thursday at the start of the AFC South champions’ final practice of the week before an AFC divisional round playoff road game against the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.
Mixon presents a difficult look for the Chiefs. He is strong between the tackles but also has the ability to create havoc as a pass catcher. The Texans will be missing slot receiver Tank Dell due to an injury suffered at KC in Week 16 and could rely on Mixon to absorb some of those intermediate routes.
