Brand-new snowfall projections have been released for a new winter storm that will sweep through the Northeast, bringing a hazardous wintry mix, and packed with ice. The system is expected to arrive in the early afternoon on Saturday,

State Area is in for another round of winter weather as a storm hits the region on Saturday. Snowfall could be moderate at times before gradually changing over to sleet, freezing rain and plain rain throughout the evening and overnight.

A winter storm brought another mixed bag of precipitation to New York City and the Tri-State area on Saturday. The storm began as snow across the area in the afternoon. By 8:00 p.m., the rain-snow line moved north of New York City.
