The Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) will pick their squad for the next Ranji Trophy match against Saurashtra on Friday (January 17) and the fixture will see the return of Rishabh Pant.

India's Test and ODI captain Rohit Sharma was spotted attending Mumbai's Ranji Trophy practice camp at the Wankhede Stadium. However, his participation in upcoming matches still remains unconfirmed. This comes as an interesting development for cricket fans and indicates his intent to remain active in first-class cricket.

Pant will join the Delhi squad in Rajkot ahead of their match against Saurashtra, DDCA secretary Ashok Sharma said

Pant last played a Ranji Trophy match in the 2017-2018 season. However, there is no clarity over the participation of superstar Virat Kohli, who last featured in the Ranji Trophy for Delhi in 2012.
