The Nifty 50 is expected to open negatively on December 2 due to disappointing GDP numbers and foreign capital outflows.

Indian benchmark indices Nifty 50 and Sensex ended the previous trade session in the red. Nifty 50 closed at 23,914.15, while Sensex ended at 79,043.74.

Sensex ended 440 points higher while Nifty ended above 24,200 points on Tuesday, sidestepping disappointing Q2 GDP data, as buying in heavyweight cement manufacturers and automakers lifted the indices.

The Nifty 50 ended the session with a gain of 0.60%, ending at 24,271 points, while the Sensex has also closed the session at 80,232 points, a 0.54% higher as compared to the previous closing price.

In today's gain, investors' wealth rose by Rs 3.25 lakh crore, as the market capitalization of BSE-listed companies rose to Rs 449.72 lakh cr
