Florida Panthers star Brad Marchand was fined by the NHL following a heated moment during the 3-0 loss to the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday.

Florida Panthers star Brad Marchand was fined by the NHL for his heated confrontation with Buffalo Sabres defender Rasmus Dahlin.

The Little Ball of Hate still has a lot of love back in Boston. Brad Marchand received a standing ovation from the Boston crowd on Tuesday night when he returned to play against his old team for the first time.

Brad Marchand wore his emotions on his sleeve during his return to Boston on Tuesday. The Florida Panthers forward couldn't help but tear up after the Boston Bruins played a tribute video of his highlights throughout his 16 seasons with the team on the TD Garden video board.

Marchand responded as many would expect, going after Dahlin and trying to fight him, eventually skating away from the scrum he created with Dahlin’s helmet in his hands. As he got to the Panthers penalty box, Marchand began ripping the straps off of the helmet before tossing the damaged bucket back on the ice.
