A late Martin Odegaard penalty, won brilliantly by 15-year-old wonderkid Max Dowman, helped Arsenal beat Newcastle 3-2 in a pre-season game in Singapore.

As with many other prodigies like Bukayo Saka and Ethan Nwaneri, Max Dowman is a product of Arsenal's Hale End academy. He debuted for the Gunners' Under-18 team at just 13 years old

Despite Arsenal's dominance, Newcastle found a route back into the game when Jacob Murphy picked out the bottom corner from range. Arsenal finally found the winning goal their performance deserved when Martin Odegaard scored from the penalty spot after the electric 15-year-old Max Dowman was taken out by Joelinton.
