Marvel Studios' latest film, "Thunderbolts" had a solid opening weekend as the box office continues to soar past the doldrums of the first quarter.

Just like the old Avengers, the New Avengers are #1 at the box office. "Thunderbolt*" kicked off the summer movie season with a bang, opening to $74.3 million at the domestic box office and $86 million worldwide.
