Christian Moore’s first visit to Yankee Stadium came as the Los Angeles Angels' second baseman, even though he grew up a fan of the pinstripes just 20 miles from the ballpark.

Los Angeles Angels second baseman Christian Moore, 22, a New York City native, posted his first big league hit on Monday night, during his club's 1-0 victory over the New York Yankees, an effort that came three days after his major league debut.

Former Vol Christian Moore started at second base for the Angels. He recorded his first MLB hit in the eighth inning, hitting a triple. Moore was placed as a runner at second base to start the 11th inning.
