Drake basketball beat Missouri in the NCAA Tournament first round, marking the first time in over 50 years the Bulldogs advanced past the first round.

The Drake Bulldogs won their first NCAA tournament game in over 50 years Thursday with a 67-57 victory over the Missouri Tigers. Drake controlled the game for most of the night, with Missouri cutting the lead to one with 4:28 to go before the Bulldogs made their final run to pull away.

The West Region of the NCAA Division I National Championship Tournament produced four great games for fans on Opening Day, including a pair of upsets. The winners of those games will face off on Saturday in the Round of 32/Round 2 (whichever you prefer to use).
