Following the cold front, the coldest air in nearly a month will settle into the region. High temperatures will return to the 30s, with overnight lows dropping into the teens and 20s to start next week. The coldest nights will be Monday and Tuesday.

Snow started to fall during the mid-afternoon Tuesday across Maryland, starting from south to north and lasting through early Wednesday. As you can see below, most of the highest totals are in Southern Maryland and the Lower Eastern Shore, where snow bands were heavier and lasted longer.
