Rodri scooped the award ahead of Vinícius Jr, prompting all of the Real Madrid entourage to boycott the ceremony in protest. And, playing on that and their Oasis links, Manchester City took time ahead of kick off to troll the current UCL holders in the best way possible.

The Brazilian winger was taunted by Manchester City fans before the game, but put in a man of the match performance to give his side the advantage.
