ROBLOX introduced a safety feature to prevent adults from interacting with children on its platform, ensuring kids only play with peers their own age.

As Roblox rolls out new age assurance features to prevent teens and kids from chatting with adults they do not know, it says Australia’s upcoming under-16s social media ban should not apply to its services.

It aims to stop under-nines from chatting without parental consent and to curb conversations between adults and minors online by placing users into six age bands ranging from under-nines to over 21s.
