The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association will send two football teams - Alma and Hope - into the NCAA Division III football playoffs in 2025.

There was movement among the top teams in the NCAA Re-Rank 1-136 after Week 12 of the college football season with Georgia, Oklahoma moving up.

Kutztown University will enter the NCAA Division II football playoffs as the third ranked team in the nation after the latest AFCA Division II Coaches Poll was released on Monday.

Both football teams received invitations to play in the NCAA playoffs, Northwood in Division II and Alma in Division III. It is Northwood’s first playoff appearance since 2006, while Alma went 2-1 in the 2023 playoffs.

A record-setting four teams from the WIAC and five from the state made the NCAA Division III football postseason, led by breakthrough River Falls.
