PHILADELPHIA – Penn State is well-represented in Friday afternoon’s quarterfinal round of the NCAA Wrestling Championships at Wells Fargo Center. Thursday could not have gone much better. Cael Sanderson’s program advanced all 10 competitors to the quarters.

The dust has settled on the first day of the 2025 NCAA Wrestling Championships inside the Wells Fargo Center. Penn State sent 10 wrestlers into Friday’s quarterfinals for the first time in the program’s history to cap off a perfect 20-0 day.
