Texas A&M maintained its standing in the top three after a comeback win over South Carolina, while Texas Tech moved up two spots to No. 6. Oklahoma is also in the top 10 after its upset of Alabama. Meanwhile, Texas fell to No. 17 after its stumble on the road at Georgia.

After a second consecutive loss, the polls can't reward Iowa any longer. The Hawkeyes have exited the USA TODAY Sports Re-Rank Top 25.

Six teams in the AP Top 25 lost in Week 12, including two from the ACC and two from the SEC. Several others escaped upsets.

After a 23-21 upset of Alabama on the road, Oklahoma has leapfrogged the Crimson Tide in the latest AP Top 25 poll.

For three weeks, the top five teams of the AP Top 25 college football rankings have remained unchanged, with Ohio State, Indiana, Texas A&M, Alabama and Georgia at the top of the heap. That’s set to shift when the latest poll drops at 2 p.m. ET. No. 4 Alabama should take the greatest hit after a 23-21 loss to No. 11 Oklahoma.
