Ojo, has condemned the Canadian Embassy’s refusal to grant a visa to Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa.

The minister said while the right to grant a visa falls within the sovereign right of a country, denying the visa of a high standing official is disrespectful to the entire country.

The Nigerian government has condemned Canada for denying visas to its senior military officers, including the head of the military. Chief of Defence Staff Gen Christopher Musa said half of his delegation, who were supposed to be in Canada for an official assignment on Wednesday, were left in Nigeria after not getting the correct paperwork.
